One of our professional bodies, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), has issued a letter to members outlining the shortcomings of Labor’s proposed $3,000 cap on deductions for managing tax affairs. This policy undermines every taxpayers right to be able to seek professional representation in the operation of our tax laws.
