Happy Easter, we hope you and your family had an enjoyable Easter long weekend. Welcome to the April edition of the GS newsletter.
As usual it is a busy time in the office with our final lodgement date for returns for the year ending June 2014 looming, it also sees a period where we prepare our clients Fringe Benefits Tax returns and start to look toward planning for the end of the 2015 financial year (not to mention Federal and State budgets coming up and the football is back!).

Piera-Lee 10 years with Geerssullivan
A much loved and valued member of our team celebrated 10 years with GeersSullivan in March. This is pretty rare in this day and age so thank you Piera-Lee for supporting us over the past 10 years and congratulations!
Piera-Lee is a Senior Accountant within our Self Managed Super team. Piera-Lee started work on a casual basis as a graduate accountant in 2005. When Piera-Lee started work with GeersSullivan we were in different premises with about 6 employees so Piera-Lee has been an integral part of the team as we have grown.
Piera-Lee graduated in June 2005 and completed her CPA studies in December 2010. She decided to continue her love of Self Managed Super Fund accounting and tax planning. We have had the pleasure of seeing Piera-Lee complete her studies, qualify as a CPA, develop her skills to a Senior Accountant and share her super knowledge by mentoring other young graduate accountants.
We have also watched as she got engaged and then married to Nathan a few years ago. We know how proud her parents are and we the Directors here at GeersSullivan often feel like the proud parents ourselves!
